Florence + The Machine Feature on Game of Thrones

‘Jenny of Oldstones’ made its debut in the closing credits of episode two in the final season of Game of Thrones. The single comes not long after the release of ‘Moderation’ and ‘Haunted House’.

Florence Welch of the band was personally approached by the creators of the hit TV show, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss, and remain the only artist to officially appear in the final season with their soundtrack.

Florence said: “Celtic music has always been in my blood, so I felt like I could do something with it. The magic and ritual in ‘Game of Thrones,’ not to mention the costumes, have always appealed to me. I am honoured to be a part of the final season.”
