Edinburgh Summer Sessions will take place at Royal Highland Showgrounds. The venue is located next to Edinburgh Airport, within minutes of the M8 and M9, and within easy reach of the city centre.
Please note this is an outdoor all-standing concert.

Your ticket can only be scanned once. There is no re-entry once you are in the event site.
Heather On The Hill
There is no minimum age to attend.
Persons aged between 0-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over (1 adult minimum per 2 persons aged between 0-15 years old).
Child ticket - For those 0-4 years old.
Kids ticket - For those 5-13 years old.
General Admission and VIP - For those 14+.
Please see information on Guardianship Wristbands below and note this can be done at the entrance as well as Welfare for this show.
Biffy Clyro, The Cure, Florence and The Machine, Lorde and Deftones
No persons under 14 permitted.
Persons aged between 14-15 years old must be accompanied by an adult 21 or over (1 adult minimum per 4 persons aged between 14-15 years old).

The Prodigy
No person under 16 permitted.
Guardianship Wristbands
If you are attending with someone aged under 16 years old, we encourage you to register your contact details in advance via our guardianship procedure form here.
Those who opt in will be issued guardianship wristbands at Welfare inside the arena when you arrive onsite. This will help us reunite you in the unlikely event you become separated.
Access to bars at the events will be restricted to over 18s. A 'challenge 25' policy will be in operation and you may be asked for proof of age. Please bring acceptable valid (in-date and original photographic) ID.
You must bring a valid and current ID with you. Photocopies of ID does not count as valid ID. Must be original documents.
The following types of ID are accepted:
UK or International Full or Provisional Driving Licence
UK or International Passport
National Proof of Age Standards Scheme card with the PASS hologram (e.g. Young Scot, CitizenCard, My ID Card)
Must have a PASS hologram on it.
The PASS hologram must not be faded, damaged or tampered with.
If there is an issue with the PASS hologram on your ID, you should apply for a replacement card via the issuing authority as it will not be accepted.
A verification system will be in use to check the validity of all national PASS cards
This is line with the national Challenge 25 policy.
The VIP Garden provides an exclusive area within the event arena, offering restricted views of the Main Stage. You will have access to a variety of street food offerings, seating, enhanced toilet facilities and an exclusive indoor lounge and bar. The VIP Garden area will remain open until 11pm, with bars closing shortly before. Please note, a VIP Ticket does not guarantee you access to the front standing area – this is available to all ticket holders on a first come, first served basis.
Access to the front standing area is on a first come, first served basis - if you would like access to this area, we advise that you arrive early. Wristbands will be given on entry for priority re-entry to the area, so you can head in and out for food, drinks, toilets, etc. - but do not guarantee access if deemed at capacity.
Who Can Attend
Everyone is welcome - There is no minimum age to attend Heather on The Hill.
If someone is 15 years old or younger, they must attend with an adult who is 21 years old or older.
(One adult can accompany up to 2 people who are 15 years old or younger).
Ticket Types
Child ticket - For those 0-4 years old
Kids ticket - For those 5-13 years old
General Admission and VIP - For those 14+
Child tickets and Kids tickets will be available once you have selected a General Admission ticket via Ticketmaster.
Ticket limits - 6 GA + 6 Kids + 6 Child per transaction OR 6 VIP per transaction.
Those aged 0-4 get into VIP free with an adult 21+ who has a valid VIP ticket.

Baby Food/Formula, Stroller Buggies, Picnic blankets, non-professional cameras, portable phone chargers, ID, ear plugs, hand sanitiser, hats, small umbrellas, lip balm, make up, sunscreen, sunglasses, empty reusable bottles (under 750ml, no glass).
Our prohibited items have been amended to ensure fans have what they need for a fun day with the family.
Welfare
The Family Hub is located to the east of the site and is a welcoming and inclusive space at the heart of the festival, designed to support families throughout their day. Whether you need a moment of calm, a private place to feed your baby, or access to first aid services, the Family Hub provides a safe and comfortable environment away from the excitement of the main arena.
Featuring a dedicated quiet room, breastfeeding room, first aid facilities, and relaxed areas, it offers families the chance to recharge, regroup, and take a break whenever needed. Our friendly team will be on hand to help ensure that everyone can enjoy the festival experience in a way that feels comfortable and supportive.
The festival will also have a sensory room in the Highland Hall which provides a calm, welcoming space where children and adults can take a break. Designed to support a range of sensory needs, it offers a quiet environment with comfortable seating, gentle lighting, and sensory resources to help visitors relax and recharge.
Picnic blankets, non-professional cameras, portable phone chargers, ID, ear plugs, hand sanitiser, hats, lip balm, make up, sunscreen (up to 100ml), sunglasses, empty reusable bottles (under 500ml, no glass/metal/hard plastic**).
The event is cashless and all payments will be via card or contactless.
**For Heather on the Hill, the prohibited items have been amended to ensure fans have what they need for a fun day with the family. Baby food, milk, formula, strollers, carts, etc. are all allowed in to the event. Please see the Heather on the Hill specific information for more detail.
You may be refused entry, ejected or arrested if you bring a prohibited item, so please familiarise yourself with what we will and won’t allow into the event. Please find a full list of prohibited items on our Special Event Conditions.
Your safety is our priority. Strict security measures will be in place and searches carried out on entry.
If you require any assistance throughout the show, please speak to the nearest member of security staff who can assist you and direct you to our welfare or first aid points if required.
Look after yourself and others round about you.
If you plan on drinking alcohol, know your limits and please drink responsibly.
Security are obliged to refuse admission or eject you from the site if you have had too much to drink so, don’t spoil your night.
It is an offence to supply alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. ID spot checks will be in place, and anyone found supplying alcohol to anyone underage will be removed from the event and referred to Police Scotland.
Our supportive welfare team from TLC are onsite to provide confidential and non-judgemental help in a whole variety of situations. Welfare is a safe space to get support with intoxication, lost friends, sanitary products, or to access a quiet space to desensitise, or if you need someone to talk to.
This is an outdoor event, the weather forecast can change quickly, so please be prepared for all types of weather. Umbrellas are not permitted in the event.

Lost Property can be handed in and collected during the event at the Fan Resolution Hub.
If you lose a personal item, please visit the Fan Resolution Hub where recovered property will be held throughout the festival.
At the end of the event, any unclaimed lost property will be passed to TLC Welfare, where collection can be arranged via post.
